We are a pan-ethnic, multicultural program that helps incoming Asian/Asian Pacific American students with their transition into college. We currently have 8 Executive Board members and 32 advisors, forming a dynamic and resourceful group. We are also affiliated with the Office of the Dean of Students.

Can't wait to be in PAFN? You should have received an email with a questionnaire and other instructions to join PAFN (if you did not, you can also download the application via the link on the left!). It's a really simple process and you will get to pick your own advisor pair. Once you turn your application in, your advisors will contact you before school starts. There are no rules or requirements for you - everyone is welcome to join!

You should pick us because...we are really involved in the UVa community and passionate about our interest. Nona is an active volunteer at Madison House and the Premed Society, while Jason is a part of Greek life and the Jefferson Debating Society.

Fun Fact: We came to the US together and we lived in the same hotel room on our way here. The next morning, Xinyang paid for the internet fee first and then Yanyan paid again without knowing it...we only realized we made such a silly mistake long after we left the hotel!
You should pick us because...both of us grew up in Shenyang, which is in northeastern China and we will prevent you from starving because we'll provide fantastic and authentic Chinese food! ^_^
